Sticky Pork Stir-Fry



This Chinese style Sticky Pork Stir Fry ticks all of the right boxes. Quick, easy, healthy and filling. What more could you ask for?

Ingredients


2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice

1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce

600g Pork

1 red onion, sliced

1 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil

200g noodles

2cm fresh ginger, grated

2 teaspoons fish sauce

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 long red chilli, sliced

1/4 cup dry roasted cashews

1 bunch baby pak choy, chopped

1 carrot, sliced

1/4 cup oyster sauce

1/4 cup chicken stock


Method


Step 1.

Combine sugar, soy sauce, pork, five spice and fish sauce into a bowl.

Step 2.

Cook your noodles following instructions on the packet.

Step 3.

Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan or wok and stir-fry pork until cooked. Remove from wok and place to one side.

Step 4.

Heat up the remaining oil in your wok and stir-fry onion, ginger, garlic and carrot for roughly 5 minutes. Add the pork, pak choy, stock and oyster sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the pork is completely cooked through. Top with onion, cashews and chilli. Serve with your noodles.
