Saucy Sausage Pasta

Is your son or daughter off to University this year? Then show them this Saucy Sausage Pasta recipe as it is quick and easy to make as well as being the perfect hangover cure.


1 large onion

2 garlic cloves

1 tsp chilli powder

Salt & Pepper

1 tsp oregano

8 Woods Butchers pork sausages

300g penne pasta

1 tbsp olive oil

400g chopped tomatoes


1. Put a large pan of water on the hob to boil

2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan and fry the sausages until golden brown

3. Turn down the heat and add the onion (chopped) and two crushed garlic cloves to the pan and cook until softened

4. Stir in the chilli powder, oregano, salt & pepper and chopped tomatoes. Cook for ten minutes until it starts to simmer

5. Pour your penne into the boiling water and cook according to instructions

6. Drain the pasta and add to the pan of sausages and sauce then serve
