Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Wraps

Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Wraps are a perfect quick and tasty summertime dish. Soft pita bread wraps filled with juicy, seasoned, grilled chicken topped with pineapple and tangy teriyaki sauce.


4 Chicken fillet breasts

1 Teaspoon chilli powder

Salt & pepper

1/4 Red onion, sliced

8 Sliced pineapple rings

1 Teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 Cup teriyaki sauce (either buy some sauce from the shop or use the recipe below to attempt your own)

4 Pita wraps

Teriyaki Sauce

1 Teaspoon minced garlic

3/4 Teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 Cup soy sauce

2 Tablespoons rice vinegar

1 Tablespoon sesame oil

1/4 Cup brown sugar

1 Tablespoon honey


1. Preheat grill to medium heat. Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper, chilli powder and garlic powder. Grill for 5-8 minutes on each side.

2. Put your wraps together by placing a grilled chicken breast, pineapple, onions and any other desired topping on each pita. Top with teriyaki sauce and serve.

3. For the homemade teriyaki sauce mix all the ingredients together in a pan. Stir constantly while bringing to boil. Reduce heat and transfer to a bowl.
